MaggieRose (1)

Maggie Rose is a rare triple threat: a multi-faceted artist who can write, perform, and produce a hit song. Raised in Maryland, Rose cut her teeth as the leader of a Bruce Springsteen cover band before beginning to write her own songs, drawing on her unique background — including a move to Nashville as a 19 year old — for inspiration. Since then, she’s filled her resume with accolades, awards, and chart hits, including more than 40 appearances at the Grand Ole Opry, an Emmy Award, multiple performances on the nationally-syndicated Bobby Bones Show, and praise from outlets like Vogue, The New York Times and NPR. The buzz reached a fever-pitch with her newer songs that combine the exhilaration of hip-hop with the impact of ’80s rock and the rootsy, story-based stomp of country music. Rose is currently in the studio, working on a project that continues display her evolving style, transcend norms and showcases her unique artistry and sonic and lyrical versatility.

August 2 • Morgan Wallen

Ticket info: TBA

MorganWallen (1)

Born in Sneedville, Tennessee (a town that also lays claim as the birthplace of bluegrass pioneer Jimmy Martin), to a hard-rock-lovin’ preacher and contemporary-Christian-devoted teacher, Wallen showed his musical interests early, singing in front of the local congregation at age three and asking for a violin for his fifth birthday. He would soon switch to piano and later add guitar to his arsenal, though he never really imagined it was possible to make a career of it. “I didn’t think that was realistic because I had no clue about how the music business worked,” Wallen says. “Even living three hours away, I had no idea about Nashville.” Since then, he’s established himself with his recent success on The Voice, a record deal with Big Loud Records, and his latest EP release “The Way I Talk.”
